Studio Tech was proud to support the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series celebrations at Gloria Molina Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched their eighth World Series title by defeating the New York Yankees in a thrilling Game 5 comeback at Yankee Stadium.

An estimated 250,000 fans packed downtown Los Angeles, wearing Dodger blue and celebrating the team's thrilling win over the Yankees. The festivities began early in the morning with a rally in the park, followed by a parade featuring double-decker buses that carried players, coaches, and their families along a 1.2-mile route past iconic city landmarks.

The celebrations also included a ticketed event at Dodger Stadium, where fans could continue the festivities with live entertainment, food, and exclusive merchandise. Mayor Karen Bass addressed the crowd, encouraging everyone to celebrate responsibly and leading chants of “Let’s go Dodgers.” For fans who couldn’t attend in person, the parade and rally were broadcast live on local TV and online streaming platforms, allowing supporters worldwide to join in the celebration

The Studio Tech Team, in collaboration with Ignite Multimedia, led the network and video transmission operations for the event. They provided comprehensive services, including Internet, Wi-Fi, on-site fiber video transmission, Dante audio networks, local and remote streaming, and overall IT support to ensure seamless connectivity and media delivery throughout the event.

Accomplishments:

  • Directed network and media transmission logistics for the event, ensuring alignment with event managers, audio-visual teams, press representatives, and the parade's video transmission crews.

  • Established and maintained robust internet and Wi-Fi services for on-site news media, production teams, medical personnel, and essential public safety officers. This network became crucial for media transmission as cellular networks became overloaded.

  • Deployed a high-quality uncompressed SDI video and a Dante audio network to feed content to LED screens across three blocks in Gloria Molina Grand Park.

  • Coordinated reception and decoding of primary video feeds from both the parade route and Dodger Stadium, ensuring real-time viewing for attendees.

  • Set up a local video streaming solution, allowing production staff to monitor LED screen content from any location within the extensive Wi-Fi coverage area.
